Award-Winning Pop up Skatepark Build by King Ramps
For Samsung’s pop-up skatepark in London’s vibrant Shoreditch area, King Ramps was chosen to lead the design, build, and management of the entire project. Tasked with creating a custom skatepark that was both beginner-friendly and exciting for experienced skaters, we designed the layout to fit the event space perfectly and meet Samsung’s vision.
We cut all the transitions and ramp sections prior to arrival at our workshop to speed up the installation and reduce disruption on site. Throughout the month-long event, King Ramps managed, staffed, and ran the area, making sure everything ran smoothly and safely while engaging the community.
The Samsung “Drop in with Samsung Flip Park” project was awarded two awards: Best Experiential Pop-Up in London and Best Community Engagement. This project shows how King Ramps brings creativity, reliability, and community spirit to every skatepark build and project.
