King Ramps has proudly supported the UK Mini Ramp Championships at the Wheels and Fins Festival in Broadstairs, Kent, for several years. This vibrant event, set against the stunning backdrop of Joss Bay, combines top-tier skateboarding with live music and beachside festivities.
For the competition, we provided a custom-built setup featuring two 5.5ft mini ramps connected to an 8ft midi ramp, creating a great set up perfect
for the occasion.
The festival attracts a diverse range of skaters from across the UK. In 2017, Nottingham’s Alex Hallford clinched the top spot. The following year, Rio O’Byrne, a rising star, secured first place in 2018, demonstrating the event’s role in nurturing emerging talent.
Beyond the competition, the Wheels and Fins Festival offers a unique blend of action sports and entertainment, making it a must-visit for skateboarding enthusiasts and festival-goers alike.
