Street Velodrome Series – King Ramps’ Innovative Pop-Up Track for Urban Cycling
King Ramps has been a key partner in the development and success of the Street Velodrome series since its inception. Our team was responsible for the comprehensive design and construction of the innovative pop-up velodrome track, as well as managing all transport, logistics, staffing, and event equipment for the nationwide tour.
The Street Velodrome series, renowned for bringing Olympic-style cycling to urban centres across the UK, completed its second year of touring cities from London to Glasgow and Belfast. Each event was filmed for its second series on Channel 4, with plans underway for a third series in 2016 .
Our involvement in this project highlights the diversity and scope of the work we’ve undertaken, demonstrating our expertise in delivering large-scale, high-quality skatepark and ramp installations, as well as our commitment to promoting cycling and skateboarding culture throughout the UK.
