King Ramps Delivers Pro Skateboarding Demos at MotoGP Barcelona with Monster Energy
In the summer of 2015, King Ramps brought our full-size portable vert ramp to the MotoGP at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Set up in the Monster Energy fan zone, the ramp hosted electrifying skateboarding demos featuring top professional riders Rune Glifberg, Sam Beckett, Sam Bosworth, and Andy Scott. Throughout the day, these legends showcased world-class vert skateboarding to massive crowds of MotoGP fans, adding high-energy action to the motorsport atmosphere.
King Ramps managed every aspect of the activation—from delivering and assembling the ramp to coordinating rider appearances—allowing event organisers to simply allocate space while we handled the rest. The collaboration between skateboarding and motorsport created an unforgettable experience for attendees, blending extreme sports with the thrill of MotoGP.
