King Ramps at Liverpoolβs HUB Festival: Ramps, BMX, Skate, Repeat!
Hub Festival is the UKβs biggest free youth event, and King Ramps was brought on board to manage all aspects of the skateboarding and BMX event production.
This included hosting skate and BMX competitions for juniors, adults, and girls, as well as delivering action-packed skateboarding and BMX workshops across both days of the festival. We organised 10 competitions over the weekend, featuring amateur and professional divisions, a dedicated girlsβ skate contest, and the UKβs only BMX vert competition of the year, held on our impressive portable vert ramp. In addition to running free public workshops, King Ramps led all core promotions within the skateboarding and BMX communities and managed every detail of the competitions, from securing top riders to coordinating judges, prizes, and scheduling.
“Contracting King Ramps to provide the street course for Hub Festival not only raised the profile and credibility of the event, it also contributed to Hub becoming the UK’s largest free urban youth festival featuring some of the biggest names in skateboarding, BMX and in-line.“
