With many councils already having wheeled sports facilities, King Ramps specialise in hosting skate park community events, aimed at promoting the use of these existing skate parks across the UK, providing an inspiring fun day for local young people.
Our skate park community events consist of professional demonstrations for skateboarding and BMX, competitions open for all ages and abilities with prizes provided, plus workshops run by some of the country’s top professionals. Our skate park events have proved a great success with numerous councils nationwide and guarantee a low cost event that will help promote the use of existing facilities. And encourage local young people to take up positive hobbies which we believe helps combat anti-social behaviour.
This is the third year we have commissioned King Ramps to run our four wheeled sports events in Waverley borough where they deliver skateboard and BMX workshops, competitions and professional demonstrations across five locations. They work enthusiastically and fully engage the young people to provide a fun learning experience for everyone.
